1. Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east.
雅各起行，到了东方人之地，

2. Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
大卫王对会众说，我儿子所罗门是神特选的，还年幼娇嫩。这工程甚大，因这殿不是为人，乃是为耶和华神建造的。

3. And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest's office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
你使亚伦和他儿子成圣，给我供祭司的职分，要如此行，取一只公牛犊，两只无残疾的公绵羊，

4. And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
七月初一日，你们当有圣会。什么劳碌的工都不可作，是你们当守为吹角的日子。

5. These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.
这是耶和华在摩押地吩咐摩西与以色列人立约的话，是在他和他们于何烈山所立的约之外。

6. Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
非利士人将他们的军旅聚到亚弗。以色列人在耶斯列的泉旁安营。

7. Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
希西家登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王二十九年。他母亲名叫亚比雅，是撒迦利雅的女儿。

8. Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
约伯又接着说，

9. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
神的众子阿，你们要将荣耀能力，归给耶和华。归给耶和华。

10. He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
人屡次受责罚，仍然硬着颈项，他必顷刻败坏，无法可治。

11. Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.
唉，亚利伊勒，亚利伊勒，大卫安营的城。任凭你年上加年，节期照常周流。

12. Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
先知耶利米从耶路撒冷寄信与被掳的祭司，先知，和众民，并生存的长老，就是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷掳到巴比伦去的。

13. In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
