1. And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
拉结生约瑟之后，雅各对拉班说，请打发我走，叫我回到我本乡本土去。

2. Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?
人遭难，我岂不为他哭泣呢。人穷乏，我岂不为他忧愁呢。

3. And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.
按作香之法调和作成圣膏油。

4. And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day.
大卫定此为以色列的律例典章，从那日直到今日。

5. And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
犹大全会众，祭司，利未人，并那从以色列地来的会众和寄居的人，以及犹大寄居的人，尽都喜乐。

6. The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
蚂蚁是无力之类，却在夏天豫备粮食。

7. And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
在大行杀戮的日子，高台倒塌的时候，各高山冈陵，必有川流河涌。

8. But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
我必扶持巴比伦王的膀臂，法老的膀臂却要下垂。我将我的刀交在巴比伦王手中，他必举刀攻击埃及地，他们就知道我是耶和华。
