1. And Jacob stole away unawares to Laban the Syrian, in that he told him not that he fled.
雅各背着亚兰人拉班偷走了，并不告诉他，

2. If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
我若不使他因我羊的毛得暖，为我祝福。

3. And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood.
也要因一切的衣服，皮物，山羊毛织的物，和各样的木器，洁净自己。

4. For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
因为我将他们领进我向他们列祖起誓应许那流奶与蜜之地，他们在那里吃得饱足，身体肥胖，就必偏向别神，事奉他们，藐视我，背弃我的约。

5. And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God.
希西家在犹大遍地这样办理，行耶和华他神眼中看为善为正为忠的事。

6. Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
你必把他们藏在你面前的隐密处，免得遇见人的计谋。你必暗暗的保守他们在亭子里，免受口舌的争闹。

7. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
他张手周济困苦人，伸手帮补穷乏人。

8. Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
耶和华说，以法莲是我的爱子吗。是可喜悦的孩子吗。我每逢责备他，仍深顾念他。所以我的心肠恋慕他。我必要怜悯他。
