1. And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.
耶和华对雅各说，你要回你祖，你父之地，到你亲族那里去，我必与你同在。

2. Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
岂不是祸患临到不义的，灾害临到作孽的呢。

3. And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
我也以我的灵充满了他，使他有智慧，有聪明，有知识，能作各样的工，

4. And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
摩西吩咐百姓说，要从你们中间叫人带兵器出去攻击米甸，好在米甸人身上为耶和华报仇。

5. The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.
耶和华你们的神必引导你们过去，将这些国民在你们面前灭绝，你们就得他们的地。约书亚必引导你们过去，正如耶和华所说的。

6. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.
势派甚大，扫罗被弓箭手追上，射伤甚重，

7. He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD.
王又从自己的产业中定出分来为燔祭，就是早晚的燔祭和安息日，月朔，并节期的燔祭，都是按耶和华律法上所载的。

8. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
因为你是我的岩石，我的山寨。所以求你为你名的缘故，引导我，指点我。

9. Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
不要将你的精力给妇女，也不要有败坏君王的行为。

10. Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
埃及人不过是人，并不是神。他们的马不过是血肉，并不是灵。耶和华一伸手，那帮助人的必绊跌，那受帮助的也必跌倒，都一同灭亡。

11. The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
古时（或作从远方）耶和华向以色列（原文作我）显现，说，我以永远的爱爱你，因此我以慈爱吸引你。

12. Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.
亚述王曾如黎巴嫩中的香柏树，枝条荣美，影密如林，极其高大，树尖插入云中。
