1. Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me.
这样，神把你们父亲的牲畜夺来赐给我了。

2. If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;
我若受迷惑，向妇人起淫念，在邻舍的门外蹲伏。

3. And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
燔祭坛和坛的一切器具，并洗濯盆与盆座，

4. And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
以色列人掳了米甸人的妇女孩子，并将他们的牲畜，羊群，和所有的财物都夺了来，当作掳物，

5. And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
摩西将这律法写出来，交给抬耶和华约柜的祭司利未子孙和以色列的众长老。

6. And they cut off his head, and stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the house of their idols, and among the people.
就割下他的首级，剥了他的军装，打发人到（或作送到）非利士地的四境，报信与他们庙里的偶像和众民。

7. Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
希西家向祭司，利未人查问这堆垒。

8. Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
耶和华阿，求你怜恤我，因为我在急难之中。我的眼睛因忧愁而乾瘪，连我的身心，也不安舒。

9. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
你当开口按公义判断，为困苦和穷乏的辨屈。

10. And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
他的磐石，必因惊吓挪去，他的首领，必因大旗惊惶。这是那有火在锡安，有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。

11. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
他们要哭泣而来。我要照他们恳求的引导他们，使他们在河水旁走正直的路，在其上不致绊跌。因为我是以色列的父，以法莲是我的长子。

12. I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
我使它的枝条蕃多，成为荣美，以致神伊甸园中的树都嫉妒它。
