1. And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this glory.
雅各听见拉班的儿子们有话说，雅各把我们父亲所有的都夺了去，并藉着我们父亲的，得了这一切的荣耀（荣耀或作财）。

2. I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
我与眼睛立约，怎能恋恋瞻望处女呢。

3. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

5. And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.
摩西去告诉以色列众人

6. Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.
非利士人与以色列人争战。以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波有被杀仆倒的。

7. Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
这事既都完毕，在那里的以色列众人就到犹大的城邑，打碎柱像，砍断木偶，又在犹大，便雅悯，以法莲，玛拿西遍地将邱坛和祭坛拆毁净尽。于是以色列众人各回各城，各归各地。

8. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
（大卫的诗交与伶长）耶和华阿，我投靠你，求你使我永不羞愧，凭你的公义搭救我。

9. The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
利慕伊勒王的言语，是他母亲教训他的真言。

10. Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
祸哉，那些下埃及求帮住的，是因仗赖马匹，倚靠甚多的车辆，并倚靠强壮的马兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，也不求问耶和华。

11. At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
耶和华说，那时，我必作以色列各家的神。他们必作我的子民。

12. And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
十一年三月初一日，耶和华的话临到我说，
