1. Two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats, two hundred ewes, and twenty rams,
母山羊二百只，公山羊二十只，母绵羊二百只，公绵羊二十只，

2. And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
于是耶和华后悔，不把所说的祸降与他的百姓。

3. And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
谁知，你们起来接续先祖，增添罪人的数目，使耶和华向以色列大发烈怒。

4. Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
也吃牛的奶油，羊的奶，羊羔的脂油，巴珊所出的公绵羊和山羊，与上好的麦子，也喝葡萄汁酿的酒。

5. Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand?
我列祖所灭的国，那些神中谁能救自己的民脱离我手呢。难道你们的神能救你们脱离我手吗。

6. Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
约伯没有向我争辩。我也不用你们的话回答他。

7. Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
因为宫殿必被撇下。多民的城必被离弃。山冈望楼永为洞穴，作野驴所喜乐的，为羊群的草场。

8. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，要将这封缄的和敞着的两张契放在瓦器里，可以存留多日。

9. Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
那时，我必使埃及河澄清，江河像油缓流。这是主耶和华说的。
