1. And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me.
并且你们要说，你仆人雅各在我们后边。因雅各心里说，我藉着在我前头去的礼物解他的恨，然后再见他的面，或者他容纳我。

2. And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
又将他们所铸的牛犊用火焚烧，磨得粉碎，撒在水面上，叫以色列人喝。

3. And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,
摩西对他们说，你们若这样行，在耶和华面前带着兵器出去打仗，

4. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
说，我要向他们掩面，看他们的结局如何。他们本是极乖僻的族类，心中无诚实的儿女。

5. And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.
希西家王和亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚因此祷告，向天呼求。

6. I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
我要说话，使我舒畅。我要开口回答。

7. Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
你们在各水边撒种牧放牛驴的有福了。

8. Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;
在埃及地显神迹奇事，直到今日在以色列和别人中间也是如此，使自己得了名声，正如今日一样。

9. They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
他们必在被杀的人中仆到。她被交给刀剑，要把她和她的群众拉去。
