1. And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.
先打发他们过河，又打发所有的都过去，

2. For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
他们对我说，你为我们作神像，可以在我们前面引路，因为领我们出埃及地的那个摩西，我们不知道他遭了什么事。

3. But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
倘若你们不这样行，就得罪耶和华，要知道你们的罪必追上你们。

4. I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
我要将祸患堆在他们身上，把我的箭向他们射尽。

5. And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.
有许多人到耶路撒冷，将供物献与耶和华，又将宝物送给犹大王希西家。此后，希西家在列邦人的眼中看为尊大。

6. And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:
他们进入这地得了为业，却不听从你的话，也不遵行你的律法。你一切所吩咐他们行的，他们一无所行，因此你使这一切的灾祸临到他们。

7. Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
他们的坟墓在坑中极深之处。她的众民在她坟墓的四围，都是被杀倒在刀下的。他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐。
