1. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
那人说，你名叫什么，他说，我名叫雅各。

2. And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
他对他们说，耶和华以色列的神这样说，你们各人把刀跨在腰间，在营中往来，从这门到那门，各人杀他的弟兄与同伴并邻舍。

3. But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.
但你的仆人，凡带兵器的，都要照我主所说的话，在耶和华面前过去打仗。

4. Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
惟恐仇敌惹动我，只怕敌人错看，说，是我们手的能力，并非耶和华所行的。

5. And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;
希西家大有尊荣资财，建造府库，收藏金银，宝石，香料，盾牌，和各样的宝器，

6. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
我是耶和华，是凡有血气者的神，岂有我难成的事吗。

7. And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
他们不得与那未受割礼仆倒的勇士一同躺卧。这些勇士带着兵器下阴间，头枕刀剑，骨头上有本身的罪孽。他们曾在活人之地使勇士惊恐。
