1. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
雅各问他说，请将你的名告诉我。那人说，何必问我的名，于是在那里给雅各祝福。

2. For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
摩西说，今天你们要自洁，归耶和华为圣，各人攻击他的儿子和弟兄，使耶和华赐福与你们。

3. And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:
说，迦得子孙和流便子孙，凡带兵器在耶和华面前去打仗的，若与你们一同过约旦河，那地被你们制伏了，你们就要把基列地给他们为业。

4. O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
惟愿他们有智慧，能明白这事，肯思念他们的结局。

5. Moreover he provided him cities, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance: for God had given him substance very much.
并且建立城邑，还有许多的羊群牛群，因为神赐他极多的财产。

6. And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.
攻城的迦勒底人必来放火焚烧这城和其中的房屋。在这房屋上，人曾向巴力烧香，向别神浇奠，惹我发怒。

7. There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
以东也在那里。她君王和一切首领虽然仗着势力，还是放在被杀的人中。他们必与未受割礼的和下坑的人一同躺卧。
