1. But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;
惟有一件才可以应允，若你们所有的男丁都受割礼，和我们一样，

2. Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
只怕你与那地的居民立约，百姓随从他们的神，就行邪淫，祭祀他们的神，有人叫你，你便吃他的祭物，

3. The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
这两个半支派已经在耶利哥对面，约旦河东，向日出之地受了产业。

4. And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.
希勒家对书记沙番说，我在耶和华殿里得了律法书。遂将书递给沙番。

5. All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
凡有血气的就必一同死亡，世人必仍归尘土。

6. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
耶和华的眼目，看顾义人，他的耳朵，听他们的呼求。

7. There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
箭蛇要在那里作窝，下蛋，？？蛋，生子，聚子在其影下。鹞鹰，各与伴偶聚集在那里。

8. And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
如今你们回转，行我眼中看为正的事，各人向邻舍宣告自由，并且在称为我名下的殿中，在我面前立约。

9. I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.
主耶和华说，我必亲自作我羊的牧人，使它们得以躺卧。
