1. They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,
夺了他们的羊群，牛群，和驴，并城里田间所有的。

2. And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
摩西在耶和华那里四十昼夜，也不吃饭也不喝水。耶和华将这约的话，就是十条诫，写在两块版上。

3. And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
拿弗他利支派有一个首领，亚米忽的儿子比大黑。

4. Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.
我必使你平平安安地归到坟墓，到你列祖那里，我要降与这地和其上居民的一切灾祸，你也不至亲眼看见。他们就回覆王去了。

5. So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
甚至使贫穷人的哀声，达到他那里。他也听了困苦人的哀声。

6. And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
他们必不再作外邦人的掠物，地上的野兽也不再吞吃他们。却要安然居住，无人惊吓。
