1. And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.
示剑的父亲哈抹出来见雅各，要和他商议。

2. And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
耶和华在他面前宣告说，耶和华，耶和华，是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实。

3. And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
西边要以大海为界。这就是你们的西界。

4. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
耶和华将他埋葬在摩押地，伯毗珥对面的谷中，只是到今日没有人知道他的坟墓。

5. And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about.
又在玛拿西，以法莲，西缅，拿弗他利各城，和四围破坏之处，都这样行。

6. Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
我虽有理，还算为说谎言的。我虽无过，受的伤还不能医治。

7. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
我这困苦人呼求，耶和华便垂听，救我脱离一切患难。

8. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
耶和华的刀满了血，用脂油和羊羔公山羊的血，并公绵羊腰子的脂油滋润的。因为耶和华在波斯拉有献祭的事，在以东地大行杀戮。

9. Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
于是，先知耶利米在耶路撒冷将这一切话告诉犹大王西底家。

10. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
我的羊在诸山间，在各高冈上流离，在全地上分散，无人去寻，无人去找。
