1. Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
以扫娶迦南的女子为妻，就是赫人以伦的女儿亚大和希未人祭便的孙女，亚拿的女儿阿何利巴玛，

2. And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
凡耶和华赐他心里有智慧，而且受感前来作这工的，摩西把他们和比撒列并亚何利亚伯一同召来。

3. And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
说，耶和华曾吩咐我主拈阄分地给以色列人为业，我主也受了耶和华的吩咐将我们兄弟西罗非哈的产业分给他的众女儿。

4. Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
约哈斯登基的时候年二十三岁，在耶路撒冷作王三个月。

5. Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.
你再容我片时，我就指示你，因我还有话为神说。

6. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
他自夸自媚，以为他的罪孽终不显露，不被恨恶。

7. And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field.
亚述王从拉吉差遣拉伯沙基，率领大军，往耶路撒冷到希西家王那里去。他就站在上池的水沟旁，在漂布地的大路上。

8. Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
你取一书卷，将我对你说攻击以色列和犹大，并各国的一切话，从我对你说话的那日，就是从约西亚的日子起直到今日，都写在其上。

9. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
主耶和华如此说，因仇敌说，阿哈。这永久的山冈都归我们为业了。
