1. Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
以扫就是以东，他的后代记在下面。

2. Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
比撒列和亚何利亚伯，并一切心里有智慧的，就是蒙耶和华赐智慧聪明，叫他知道作圣所各样使用之工的，都要照耶和华所吩咐的作工。

3. And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:
约瑟的后裔，玛拿西的孙子，玛吉的儿子基列，他子孙中的诸族长来到摩西和作首领的以色猎人族长面前，

4. Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
国民立约西亚的儿子约哈斯在耶路撒冷接续他父作王。

5. Elihu also proceeded, and said,
以利户又接着说，

6. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
（耶和华的仆人大卫的诗，交与伶长）恶人的罪过，在他心里说，我眼中不怕神。

7. Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.
希西家王十四年，亚述王西拿基立，上来攻击犹大的一切坚固城，将城攻取。

8. And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，耶和华的话临到耶利米说，

9. Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
人子阿，你要对以色列山发预言说，以色列山哪，要听耶和华的话。
