1. And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.
他哥哥们都嫉妒他，他父亲却把这话存在心里。

2. And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about.
又包上精金，四围镶上金牙边。

3. Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
他使密云盛满水气，布散电光之云。

4. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
但谦卑人必承受地土，以丰盛的平安为乐。

5. Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?
你总听说亚述诸王向列国所行的，乃是尽行灭绝，难道你还能得救吗。

6. And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army,
迦勒底的军队因怕法老的军队，拔营离开耶路撒冷的时候，

7. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
主对我说，人子阿，这些骸骨就是以色列全家。他们说，我们的骨头枯乾了，我们的指望失去了，我们灭绝净尽了。
