1. And he said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.
以色列说，你去看看你哥哥们平安不平安，群羊平安不平安，就回来报信给我。于是打发他出希伯仑谷，他就往示剑去了。

2. Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
安环子的地方是挨近横梁，可以穿杠抬桌子。

3. Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
约伯阿，你要留心听，要站立思想神奇妙的作为。

4. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
恶人已经弓上弦，刀出鞘，要打倒困苦穷乏的人，要杀害行动正直的人。

5. And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
希西家从使者手里接过书信来，看完了，就上耶和华的殿，将书信在耶和华面前晒开。

6. Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.
耶利米说，你这是谎话，我并不是投降迦勒底人。伊利雅不听他的话，就拿住他，解到首领那里。

7. And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
我必将我的灵放在你们里面，你们就要活了。我将你们安置在本地，你们就知道我耶和华如此说，也如此成就了。这是耶和华说的。
