1. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
来吧。我们将他杀了，丢在一个坑里，就说有恶兽把他吃了。我们且看他的梦将来怎吗样。

2. And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
灯台上有四个杯，形状像杏花，有球有花。

3. Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
人岂可说，我愿与他说话。岂有人自愿灭亡吗。

4. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
恶人却要灭亡。耶和华的仇敌，要像羊羔的脂油。（或作像草地的华美）他们要消灭，要如烟消灭。

5. Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
耶和华我们的神阿，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使天下万国都知道惟有你是耶和华。

6. Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
主我的王阿，求你现在垂听，准我在你面前的恳求，不要使我回到文士约拿单的房屋中，免得我死在那里。

7. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
你所写的那两根杖要在他们眼前拿在手中，
