1. And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
他们坐下吃饭，举目观看，见有一夥米甸的以实玛利人从基列来，用骆驼驮着香料，乳香，没药，要带下埃及去。

2. And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
他用皂荚木作香坛，是四方的，长一肘，宽一肘，高二肘，坛的四角与坛接连一块，

3. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
我从前年幼，现在年老，却未见过义人被弃。也未见过他的后裔讨饭。

4. I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.
我已经挖井喝水，我必用脚掌踏乾埃及的一切河。

5. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
他们必住在我赐给我仆人雅各的地上，就是你们列祖所住之地。他们和他们的子孙，并子孙的子孙，都永远住在那里。我的仆人大卫必作他们的王，直到永远。
