1. And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
犹大对众弟兄说，我们杀我们的兄弟，藏了他的血有什么益处呢。

2. And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
又用精金把坛的上面与坛的四面并坛的四角包裹，又在坛的四围镶上金牙边。

3. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
他终日恩待人，借给人。他的后裔也蒙福。

4. Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
耶和华说，你岂没有听见我早先所作的古时所立的吗，现在藉你使坚固城荒废，变为乱堆。

5. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
并且我要与他们立平安的约，作为永约。我也要将他们安置在本地，使他们的人数增多，又在他们中间设立我的圣所，直到永远。
