1. Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.
我们不如将他卖给以实玛利人，不可下手害他。因为他是我们的兄弟，我们的骨肉。众弟兄就听从了他。

2. And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
作两个金环，安在牙子边以下，在坛的两旁，两根横撑上，作为穿杠的用处，以便抬坛。

3. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
你当离恶行善，就可永远安居。

4. Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
所以其中的居民力量甚小，惊惶羞愧。他们像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，又如田间未长成的禾稼。

5. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
我的居所必在他们中间。我要作他们的神，他们要作我的子民。
