1. Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
以色列原来爱约瑟过于爱他的众子，因为约瑟是他年老生的。他给约瑟作了一件彩衣。

2. And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
又铸四个金环，安在柜的四脚上，这边两环，那边两环。

3. He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
他发响声震遍天下，发电光闪到地极。

4. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
你当倚靠耶和华而行善。住在地上，以他的信实为粮。

5. And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
对他说，希西家如此说，今日是急难，责罚，凌辱的日子，就如妇人将要生产婴孩，却没有力量生产。

6. And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.
西底家王打发示利米雅的儿子犹甲，和祭司玛西雅的儿子西番雅，去见先知耶利米，说，求你为我们祷告耶和华我们的神。

7. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
他对我说，人子阿，这些骸骨能复活吗。我说，主耶和华阿，你是知道的。
