1. And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.
波提乏将一切所有的都交在约瑟的手中，除了自己所吃的饭，别的事一概不知。约瑟原来秀雅俊美。

2. And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
又琢出两块红玛瑙，镶在金槽上，彷佛刻图书，按着以色列儿子的名字雕刻，

3. Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.
我使旷野作它的住处，使咸地当它的居所。

4. Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.
世人行动实系幻影。他们忙乱，真是枉然。积蓄财宝，不知将来有谁收取。

5. Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
日子必到，凡你家里所有的，并你列祖积蓄到如今的，都要被掳到巴比伦去，不留下一样，这是耶和华说的。

6. Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.
巴比伦王在利比拉，西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又杀了犹大的一切贵胄，

7. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
我要降火在玛各和海岛安然居住的人身上，他们就知道我是耶和华。
