1. For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
我实在是从希伯来人之地被拐来的。我在这里也没有作过什么，叫他们把我下在监里。

2. And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
怎样膏他们的父亲，也要照样膏他们，使他们给我供祭司的职分。他们世世代代凡受膏的，就永远当祭司的职任。

3. Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
你且观看河马。我造你也造它。它吃草与牛一样。

4. Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
愿那些对我说，阿哈，阿哈的，因羞愧而败亡。

5. Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
看哪，万民都像水桶的一滴，又算如天平上的微尘。他举起众海岛，好像极微之物。

6. Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?
加利亚的儿子约哈难在米斯巴私下对基大利说，求你容我去杀尼探雅的儿子以实玛利，必无人知道。何必让他要你的命，使聚集到你这里来的犹大人都分散，以致犹大剩下的人都灭亡呢？

7. And from the face of the gate of the entrance unto the face of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.
