1. Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?
雅各见埃及有粮，就对儿子们说，你们为什么彼此观望呢。

2. Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
约伯回答耶和华说，

3. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
（可拉后裔的训悔诗，交给伶长）神阿，我的心切慕你，如鹿切慕溪水。

4. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
看哪，我的仆人，我所扶持，所拣选，心里所喜悦的，我已将我的灵赐给他，他必将公理传给外邦。

5. Then all the captains of the forces, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least even unto the greatest, came near,
众军长和加利亚的儿子约哈难，并何沙雅的儿子耶撒尼亚（又名亚撒利雅，见四十三章二节）以及众百姓，从最小的到至大的都进前来，

6. Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.
他带我出来向北，到外院，又带我进入圣屋。这圣屋一排顺着空地，一排与北边铺石地之屋相对。
