1. And they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these words? God forbid that thy servants should do according to this thing:
他们回答说，我主为什么说这样的话呢。你仆人断不能作这样的事。

2. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
惟你救了我们脱离敌人，使恨我们的人羞愧。

3. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
自从我设立古时的民，谁能像我宣告，并且指明，又为自己陈说呢。让他将未来的事，和必成的事说明。

4. Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;
现在耶和华万军之神，以色列的神如此说，你们为何作这大恶自害己命，使你们的男人，妇女，婴孩，和吃奶的都从犹大中剪除，不留一人呢。

5. In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
你们把我的食物，就是脂油和血献上的时候，将身心未受割礼的外邦人领进我的圣地，玷污了我的殿。又背了我的约，在你们一切可憎的事上，加上这一层。
