1. The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
圭必不离犹大，杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗（就是赐平安者）来到，万民都必归顺。

2. For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
他必见智慧人死。又见愚顽人和畜类人，一同灭亡，将他们的财货留给别人。

3. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
不饥不渴，炎热和烈日必不伤害他们，因为怜恤他们的，必引导他们，领他们到水泉旁边。

4. But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
我却使以扫赤露，显出他的隐密处。他不能自藏。他的后裔，弟兄，邻舍尽都灭绝。他也归于无有。
