1. Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
但你放纵情欲，滚沸如水，必不得居首位。因为你上了你父亲的床，污秽了我的榻。

2. I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
我要侧耳听比喻，用琴解谜语。

3. Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
我却说，我劳碌是徒然，我尽力是虚无虚空，然而我当得的理必在耶和华那里，我的赏赐必在我的神那里。

4. Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?
背道的民（原文作女子）哪，你们为何因有山谷，就是水流的山谷夸张呢。为何倚靠财宝说，谁能来到我们这里呢。
