1. And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
雅各叫了他的儿子们来，说，你们都来聚集，我好把你们日后必遇的事告诉你们。

2. Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
（可拉后裔的诗，交与伶长）万民哪，你们都当听这话，世上一切的居民，

3. Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
众海岛阿，当听我言。远方的众民哪，留心而听。自我出胎，耶和华就选召我，自出母腹，他就题我的名。

4. Concerning the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?
论亚扪人。耶和华如此说，以色列没有儿子吗。没有后嗣吗。玛勒堪为何得迦得之地为业呢。属他的民为何住其中的城邑呢。
