迦勒底的闺女阿，你要默然静坐，进入暗中，因为你不再称为列国的主母。

4. Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
迦萨成了光秃。平原中所剩的亚实基伦归于无有。你用刀划身，要到几时呢。

5. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
又量了一千肘，水便成了河，使我不能趟过。因为水势涨起，成为可？？的水，不可趟的河。
