1. And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abelmizraim, which is beyond Jordan.
迦南的居民见亚达禾场上的哀哭，就说，这是埃及人一场大的哀哭。因此那地方名叫亚伯麦西，是在约旦河东。

2. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
山中的飞鸟，我都知道。野地的走兽，也都属我。

3. Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
凡你们点火用火把围绕自己的。可以行在你们的火焰里，并你们所点的火把中。这是我手所定的。你们必躺在悲惨之中。

4. Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;
抢夺我产业的阿，你们因欢喜快乐，且像踹谷撒欢的母牛犊，又像发嘶声的壮马。
