1. Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
那时酒政对法老说，我今日想起我的罪来。

2. Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
人指望捉拿它是徒然的。一见它，岂不丧胆吗。

3. Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
连我知己的朋友，我所倚靠吃过我饭的，也用脚踢我。

4. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
你是我从地极所领（原文作抓）来的，从地角所召来的，且对你说，你是我的仆人，我拣选你并不弃绝你。

5. Now the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, was it which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with them that were slain.
以实玛利将所杀之人的尸首都抛在坑里基大利的旁边。这坑是从前亚撒王因怕以色列王巴沙所挖的。尼探雅的儿子以实玛利将那些被杀的人填满了坑。

6. The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within.
旁屋的外墙厚五肘。旁屋之外还有馀地。
