1. And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt.
于是，约瑟的十个哥哥都下埃及籴粮去了。

2. Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
谁用无知的言语，使你的旨意隐藏呢。我所说的，是我不明白的。这些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。

3. My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
我昼夜以眼泪当饮食。人不住的对我说，你的神在那里呢。

4. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
压伤的芦苇，他不折断。将残的灯火，他不吹灭。他凭真实将公理传开。

5. That the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.
愿耶和华你的神指示我们所当走的路，所当作的事。

6. Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.
对着内院那二十肘宽之空地，又对着外院的铺石地，在第三层楼上有楼廊对着楼廊。
