1. And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
他便问法老的二臣，就是与他同囚在他主人府里的，说，他们今日为什么面带愁容呢，

2. And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
把洗濯盆安在会幕和坛的中间，在盆里盛水。

3. Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
你要如勇士束腰。我问你，你可以指示我。

4. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
那时我说，看哪，我来了。我的事在经卷上已经记载了。

5. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
草必枯乾，花必凋残，因为耶和华的气吹在其上。百姓诚然是草。

6. Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;
在田野的一切军长，和属他们的人，听见巴比伦王立了亚希甘的儿子基大利作境内的省长，并将没有掳到巴比伦的男人，妇女，孩童，和境内极穷的人全交给他。

7. And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.
又有卫房，每房长一竿，宽一竿，相隔五肘。门槛，就是挨着向殿的廊门槛，宽一竿。
