1. And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep.
有人告诉他玛说，你的公公上亭拿剪羊毛去了。

2. And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.

3. That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
叫这光普照地的四极，将恶人从其中驱逐出来吗。

4. But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
但我如聋子不听，像哑吧不开口。

5. I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
我使自己安静直到天亮。他像狮子折断我一切的骨头，从早到晚，他要使我完结。

6. So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
这样，他们用绳子将耶利米从牢狱里拉上来。耶利米仍在护卫兵的院中。

7. Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
示巴人，底但人，他施的客商，和其间的少壮狮子都必问你说，你来要抢财为掳物吗。你聚集军队要夺货为掠物吗。要夺取金银，掳去牲畜，财货吗。要抢夺许多财宝为掳物吗。
