1. And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it?
犹大说，我从羊群里取一只山羊羔，打发人送来给你。他玛说，在未送以先，你愿意给我一个当头吗，

2. And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.
柱子带卯的座是铜的，柱子上的钩子和杆子是银的，柱顶是用银子包的。院子一切的柱子都是用银杆连络的。

3. Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
死亡的门曾向你显露吗。死荫的门你曾见过吗。

4. For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
我几乎跌倒，我的痛苦常在我面前。

5. Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
看哪，我受大苦，本为使我得平安，你因爱我的灵魂，（或作生命）便救我脱离败坏的坑。因为你将我一切的罪，扔在你的背后。

6. Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:
耶利米对西底家说，耶和华万军之神，以色列的神如此说，你若出去归降巴比伦王的首领，你的命就必存活，这城也不致被火焚烧，你和你的全家都必存活。

7. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
主耶和华如此说，我在古时藉我的仆人以色列的先知所说的，就是你吗。当日他们多年预言我必带你来攻击以色列人。
