1. And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar.
犹大为长子珥娶妻，名叫他玛。

2. And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.
用皂荚木作杠，用铜包裹，

3. Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
地的根基安置在何处。地的角石是谁安放的。

4. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
我疼痛，大大拳曲，终日哀痛。

5. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
并且我要救你和这城脱离亚述王的手，也要保护这城。

6. Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
他们就拿住耶利米，下在哈米勒的儿子（或作王的儿子）玛基雅的牢狱里。那牢狱在护卫兵的院中。他们用绳子将耶利米系下去。牢狱里没有水，只有淤泥，耶利米就陷在淤泥中。

7. Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
歌篾人和他的军队，北方极处的陀迦玛族和他的军队，这许多国的民都同着你。
