1. When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
犹大看见她，以为是妓女，因为她蒙着脸。

2. And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
门这边的帷子十五肘，那边也是一样。帷子的柱子三根，带卯的座三个。在门的左右各有帷子十五肘，帷子的柱子三根，带卯的座三个。

3. And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
亮光不照恶人，强横的膀臂也必折断。

4. For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
耶和华阿，我仰望你。主我的神阿，你必应允我。

5. What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
我可说什么呢，他应许我的，也给我成就了。我因心里的苦楚，在一生的年日，必悄悄而行。

6. Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?
耶利米对西底家说，我若告诉你，你岂不定要杀我吗。我若劝戒你，你必不听从我。

7. And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
你必从本地，从北方的极处率领许多国的民来，都骑着马，乃一大队极多的军兵。
