1. And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.
以扫说，我们可以起身前往，我在你前头走。

2. And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
摩西对耶和华说，你吩咐我说，将这百姓领上去，却没有叫我知道你要打发谁与我同去，只说，我按你的名认识你，你在我眼前也蒙了恩。

3. And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
从汛的旷野起行，安营在脱加。

4. And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
论便雅悯说，耶和华所亲爱的必同耶和华安然居住。耶和华终日遮蔽他，也住在他两肩之中。

5. And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
他在急难的时候，就恳求耶和华他的神，且在他列祖的神面前极其自卑。

6. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
我要回答你说，你这话无理，因神比世人更大。

7. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
以耶和华为神的，那国是有福的。他所拣选为自己产业的，那民是有福的。

8. And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
列邦必像已烧的石灰，已割的荆棘，在火中焚烧。

9. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
万军之耶和华如此说，在这荒废无人民无牲畜之地，并其中所有的城邑，必再有牧人的住处。他们要使羊群躺卧在那里。

10. Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
人子阿，你要对本国的人民说，义人的义，在犯罪之日不能救他。至于恶人的恶，在他转离恶行之日也不能使他倾倒。义人在犯罪之日也不能因他的义存活。
