1. And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
以扫举目看见妇人孩子，就说，这些和你同行的是谁呢，雅各说，这些孩子是神施恩给你的仆人的。

2. For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
耶和华对摩西说，你告诉以色列人说，耶和华说，你们是硬着颈项的百姓，我若一霎时临到你们中间，必灭绝你们。现在你们要把身上的妆饰摘下来，使我可以知道怎样待你们。

3. And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
以色列人从兰塞起行，安营在疏割。

4. And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
百姓的众首领，以色列的各支派，一同聚会的时候，耶和华（原文作他）在耶书仑中为王。

5. And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
他在耶和华殿的两院中为天上的万象筑坛，

6. If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
你若回答我，就站起来，在我面前陈明。

7. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
他喜爱仁义公平。遍地满了耶和华的慈爱。

8. The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
耶和华被尊崇，因他居在高处。他以公平公义充满锡安。

9. They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
人要与迦勒底人争战，正是拿死尸充满这房屋，就是我在怒气和忿怒中所杀的人，因他们的一切恶，我就掩面不顾这城。

10. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
他听见角声，不受警戒，他的罪必归到自己的身上。他若受警戒，便是救了自己的性命。
