1. And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
雅各就往疏割去，在那里为自己盖造房屋，又为牲畜搭棚。因此那地方名叫疏割（就是棚的意思）。

2. And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
耶和华对摩西说，你这所求的我也要行，因为你在我眼前蒙了恩，并且我按你的名认识你。

3. And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
从基博罗哈他瓦起行，安营在哈洗录。

4. His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
他为牛群中头生的，有威严。他的角是野牛的角，用以抵触万邦，直到地极。这角是以法莲的万万，玛拿西的千千。

5. Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.
百姓却仍在邱坛上献祭，只献给耶和华他们的神。

6. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
好叫人不从自己的谋算，不行骄傲的事。（原文作将骄傲向人隐藏）

7. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
靠马得救是枉然的。马也不能因力大救人。

8. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
你的眼必见王的荣美，必见辽阔之地。

9. For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
因为耶和华如此说，大卫必永不断人坐在以色列家的宝座上。

10. Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.
你本国的子民还说，主的道不公平。其实他们的道不公平。
