1. And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
以扫说，我所遇见的这些群畜是什么意思呢，雅各说，是要在我主面前蒙恩的。

2. And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
当摩西出营到会幕去的时候，百姓就都起来，各人站在自己帐棚的门口，望着摩西，直等到他进了会幕。

3. And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
从比哈希录对面起行，经过海中到了书珥旷野，又在伊坦的旷野走了三天的路程，就安营在玛拉。

4. And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
论利未说，耶和华阿，你的土明和乌陵都在你的虔诚人那里。你在玛撒曾试验他，在米利巴水与他争论。

5. Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
以色列人若谨守遵行我藉摩西所吩咐他们的一切法度，律例，典章，我就不再使他们挪移离开我所赐给他们列祖之地。

6. Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
你所说的，我听见了，也听见你的言语，说，

7. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
愿全地都敬畏耶和华。愿世上的居民，都惧怕他。

8. The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
大路荒凉，行人止息。敌人背约，藐视城邑，不顾人民。

9. And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
我要除净他们的一切罪，就是向我所犯的罪。又要赦免他们的一切罪，就是干犯我，违背我的罪。

10. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
我对恶人说，恶人哪，你必要死。你以西结若不开口警戒恶人，使他离开所行的道，这恶人必死在罪孽之中，我却要向你讨他丧命的罪（原文作血）。
