1. So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
于是,以扫当日起行,回往西珥去了。

2. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
人在何事上得以知道我和你的百姓在你眼前蒙恩呢,岂不是因你与我们同去,使我和你的百姓与地上的万民有分别吗。

3. And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
从西奈的旷野起行,安营在基博罗哈他瓦。

4. And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
得地和其中所充满的宝物,并住荆棘中上主的喜悦。愿这些福都归于约瑟的头上,归于那与弟兄迥别之人的顶上。

5. And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
重修耶和华的祭坛,在坛上献平安祭,感谢祭,吩咐犹大人事奉耶和华以色列的神。

6. Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
开通他们的耳朵,将当受的教训印在他们心上,

7. There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
君王不能因兵多得胜。勇士不能因力大得救。

8. He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
他必居高处。他的保障是磐石的坚垒。他的粮必不缺乏,(原文作赐给)他的水必不断绝。

9. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
在那日子犹大必得救,耶路撒冷必安然居住,他的名必称为耶和华我们的义。

10. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
他所犯的一切罪必不被记念。他行了正直与合理的事,必定存活。
