1. And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
雅各对他说，我主知道孩子们年幼娇嫩，牛羊也正在乳养的时候，若是催赶一天，群畜都必死了。

2. Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
我如今若在你眼前蒙恩，求你将你的道指示我，使我可以认识你，好在你眼前蒙恩。求你想到这民是你的民。

3. And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
从脱加起行，安营在亚录。

4. And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
论约瑟说，愿他的地蒙耶和华赐福，得天上的宝物，甘露，以及地里所藏的泉水。

5. And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.
他祈祷耶和华，耶和华就允准他的祈求，垂听他的祷告，使他归回耶路撒冷，仍坐国位。玛拿西这才知道惟独耶和华是神。

6. Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
你为何与他争论呢。因他的事都不对人解说。

7. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
耶和华从天上观看。他看见一切的世人。

8. Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
你们远方的人，当听我所行的，你们近处的人，当承认我的大能。

9. In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.
在山地的城邑，高原的城邑，南地的城邑，便雅悯地，耶路撒冷四围的各处，和犹大的城邑必再有羊群从数点的人手下经过。这是耶和华说的。

10. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
我对义人说，你必定存活。他若倚靠他的义而作罪孽，他所行的义都不被记念。他必因所作的罪孽死亡。
