1. Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.
于是两个使女和她们的孩子前来下拜。

2. And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
以色列人从住何烈山以后，就把身上的妆饰摘得乾净。

3. And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
从疏割起行，安营在旷野边的以倘。

4. Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
愿流便存活，不致死亡。愿他人数不致稀少。

5. And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
并在欣嫩子谷使他的儿女经火，又观兆，用法术，行邪术，立交鬼的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气，

6. Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
我在神面前与你一样，也是用土造成。

7. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
诸天藉耶和华的命而造，万象藉他口中的气而成。

8. And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
你一生一世必得安稳，有丰盛的救恩，并智慧，和知识。你以敬畏耶和华为至宝。

9. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
看哪，我要使这城得以痊愈安舒，使城中的人得医治，又将丰盛的平安和诚实显明与他们。

10. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
倘若守望的人见刀剑临到，不吹角，以致民不受警戒，刀剑来杀了他们中间的一个人，他虽然死在罪孽之中，我却要向守望的人讨他丧命的罪（原文作血）。
