1. And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
且对他说，你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列。这样，他就改名叫以色列。

2. And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;
你们中间凡心里有智慧的都要来作耶和华一切所吩咐的，

3. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
你吩咐以色列人说，你们过约旦河，进了迦南地，

4. So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment.
这样，供献的事齐备了。祭司站在自己的地方，利未人按着班次站立，都是照王所吩咐的。

5. But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
却无人说，造我的神在那里。他使人夜间歌唱。

6. All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
我的骨头都要说，耶和华阿，谁能像你救护困苦人，脱离那比他强壮的，救护困苦穷乏人，脱离那抢夺他的。

7. And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
并且耶和华救赎的民必归回，歌唱来到锡安。永乐必归到他们的头上，他们必得着欢喜快乐，忧愁叹息尽都逃避。

8. But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
但住帐棚，听从我们先祖约拿达的话，照他所吩咐我们的去行。

9. Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
因为你曾说，这二国这二邦必归于我，我必得为业。（其实耶和华仍在那里）
