1. And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.
他们就把外邦人的神像和他们耳朵上的环子交给雅各。雅各都藏在示剑那里的橡树底下。

2. And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
摩西对以色列全会众说，耶和华所吩咐的是这样，

3. And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.
你们给利未人的郊野，要从城根起，四围往外量一千肘。

4. And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.
你们应当按着宗族，照着班次，遵以色列王大卫和他儿子所罗门所写的，自己预备。

5. I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
我要回答你，和在你这里的朋友。

6. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
愿那寻索我命的，蒙羞受辱。愿那谋害我的，退后羞愧。

7. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
对胆怯的人说，你们要刚强，不要惧怕。看哪，你们的神必来报仇，必来施行极大的报应，他必来拯救你们。

8. And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:
领到耶和华的殿，进入神人伊基大利的儿子哈难众子的屋子。那屋子在首领的屋子旁边，在沙龙之子把门的玛西雅屋子以上。

9. I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
我必使你的城邑变为荒场，成为凄凉。你就知道我是耶和华。
