1. And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.
雅各就给那地方起名叫伯特利。

2. And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
香坛和坛的杠，膏油和馨香的香料，并帐幕门口的帘子，

3. These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.
这六座城要给以色列人和他们中间的外人，并寄居的，作为逃城，使误杀人的都可以逃到那里。

4. And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
歌唱的亚萨之子孙，照着大卫，亚萨，希幔，和王的先见耶杜顿所吩咐的，站在自己的地位上。守门的看守各门，不用离开他们的职事，因为他们的弟兄利未人给他们预备祭物。

5. But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
但如今因他未曾发怒降罚，也不甚理会狂傲，

6. But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
我在患难中，他们却欢喜，大家聚集。我所不认识的那些下流人，聚集攻击我。他们不住的把我撕裂。

7. I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
我从早起来，差遣我的仆人众先知去，说，你们各人当回头，离开恶道，改正行为，不随从事奉别神，就必住在我所赐给你们和你们列祖的地上。只是你们没有听从我，也没有侧耳而听。

8. As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
你怎样因以色列家的地业荒凉而喜乐，我必照你所行的待你。西珥山哪，你和以东全地必都荒凉。你们就知道我是耶和华。
