1. And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
神对雅各说，起来。上伯特利去，住在那里。要在那里筑一座坛给神，就是你逃避你哥哥以扫的时候向你显现的那位。

2. And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
摩西招聚以色列全会众，对他们说，这是耶和华所吩咐的话，叫你们照着行，

3. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
耶和华在摩押平原约旦河边，耶利哥对面晓谕摩西说，

4. Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
约西亚在耶路撒冷向耶和华守逾越节。正月十四日，就宰了逾越节的羊羔。

5. Elihu spake moreover, and said,
以利户又说，

6. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
耶和华阿，与我相争的，求你与他们相争。与我相战的，求你与他们相战。

7. The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
旷野和乾旱之地，必然欢喜。沙漠也必快乐。又像玫瑰开花。

8. The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
当犹大王约西亚之子约雅敬的时候，耶和华的话临到耶利米说，

9. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
